Cub Scouts are for young people aged 8 to 10 years, offering the next step in the Scouting journey after Beavers. At this stage, children take on more exciting challenges, learn new skills, and build greater confidence while continuing to have fun with friends.
Cubs enjoy a wide variety of activities designed to encourage teamwork, independence, and curiosity. Meetings are energetic and engaging, giving young people the chance to try new things, solve problems together, and develop skills that will help them in everyday life.
Cub Scouts take part in a diverse programme of activities that combine fun with learning. These sessions are designed to help members grow in confidence while discovering new interests.
Activities often include outdoor adventures, team games, creative projects, badge work, and community activities. Cubs are encouraged to challenge themselves, support one another, and develop a strong sense of teamwork.
Through these experiences, young people gain valuable skills while enjoying memorable moments with their friends and leaders.
