Beaver Scouts

A Great Start to the

Scouting Journey

Beaver Scouts are the youngest members of 1st Ickenham Scout Group, welcoming children aged 6 to 8 years to begin their exciting journey in Scouting. This stage is all about introducing young people to new experiences, building confidence, and helping them make new friends in a safe and supportive environment.

Through a variety of fun and engaging activities, Beavers learn the importance of teamwork, kindness, and curiosity. Each meeting is designed to be energetic, creative, and enjoyable, allowing children to explore new interests while developing important life skills.

What Beaver

Scouts Do

Beaver meetings are filled with exciting activities that encourage young people to learn while having fun. Sessions often include games, crafts, outdoor adventures, and simple challenges that keep children active and engaged.

These activities help young people develop confidence, communication skills, and teamwork, while building friendships that can last for many years.
